Kelsey took her first Accounting course in high school. She knew right away this was her future career path. She received her BS and MBA in Accounting from Johnson & Wales University School of Business in RI.
While attending University, Kelsey worked in the Accounting Department at Johnson & Wales University. Kelsey worked part-time and studied for the CPA Exam while attending University. Upon receiving her MBA, Kelsey made a conscious decision to focus her attention on passing all four parts of the CPA Exam while working for Accounting Matters.
She has passed two parts of the Exam, and is looking forward to completing the exam process by the end of year 2014.
Her experiences working at the University and for Accounting Matters, has provided her with a solid foundation in the accounting and bookkeeping profession. She has worked on a wide variety of accounting principles and has been exposed to a variety of clientele.
Kelsey’s outside interests are seeing her favorite musicians in concert, reading novels, fitness classes, and trying new eateries.
